Trail biking is a fantastic way to roam from the outback to the lush green tropics.

Types of motorcycle sport include motocross; track; enduro; observed trials; road racing; historic; junior.

Motocross and off road training starts at $AU 50 per hour.  Find out more from Motorcycling Australia



Motor Racing

If you fancy getting in behind the wheel of a sports car then why not try an introductory race day!  If you think it's for you then have a go at rally driving; circuit racing; touring; off road racing or speed racing.  A full day's training will set you back approx $AU 600.

Mountain Biking

Free riding is the most popular form of mountain biking and you can ride the trails for the fun of it.  Endurance riding involves racing for up to 24 hours or more.  You could torture yourself racing uphill.  Cross country racing is another option as is snow mountain biking

As an alternative to walking, mountain biking can take you to see stunning waterfalls, mountain streams and fishing spots.

Mountain Climbing

If you've had a go at rockclimbing you may like to try mountain climbing because it incorporates a variety of climbing techniques.

Most mountain climbing is done in Kosciuszko National Park.

A beginners course costs just under $AU 1000



Paintball

Paintball or skirmish is a sport played by women and men and is quite often utilised by companies wishing to build team spirit in the work environment.  It requires strategy and imagination.



There are ample opportunities to try paintball throughout Australia.
For less than $AU 100 a day you can have fun even in the rain.

Parasailing

Parasailing first began in the 1960s when an adventure lover attached a parachute to the back of a car.  The following decade they progressed to the seas using a boat with a winch.  The season runs from November to April and costs less than $AU 100.
