South of the New South Wales border, heading toward the gourmet country of Gippsland and its wineries, cheesemakers, farmers’ markets, and fruit and berry farms, Lakes Entrance, located on the edge of Ninety Mile Beach is where the Gippsland Lakes meets the Southern Ocean.

Croajingolong National Park, a World Biosphere Reserve is here and with more than 100 kilometres of pristine coastline and hinterland, it is a great place to go bushwalking, surfing or spotting various species of bird and plant life.
